A values-based behavior coaching partner for your clients — and your practice.

Hi. I’m Amanda Snow, BCBA. I work alongside therapists to provide ABA and ACT-informed values-based behavior coaching for clients who are ready to translate therapeutic insight into daily, measurable behavior change.

If you have clients who arrive each week with awareness, intention, and the same follow-through gaps — I may be able to help.

The Gap I Work In

Bridging Therapy and Coaching

Therapy processes and stabilizes. Coaching activates and builds. These are complementary roles, not competing ones.

  What therapy does

•     Emotional processing and stabilization

•     Trauma treatment and clinical support

•     Diagnosable condition management

•     Identity and relational depth work

•     Building insight and self-understanding

 What coaching adds

•     Behavior activation and habit scaffolding

•     Executive function strategies and routines

•     Values-based goal work and accountability

•     Between-session skill-building and practice

•     Translating insight into sustainable action

Who to Refer for Coaching

Identifying the right clients for values-based behavior coaching can enhance their journey towards meaningful change. Use this quick guide to determine if a client is a good fit.

Clients who tend to be a strong fit:

•     Clients with consistent follow-through or task initiation gaps

•     Clients with executive dysfunction, autistic burnout, or freeze/shutdown patterns

•     Clients navigating identity transitions, burnout, or chronic habit struggles

•     Clients who are emotionally stable and ready to work on behavior change

•     Clients who have good insight but struggle to act on it between sessions

•     Neurodivergent clients seeking structured, affirming support

Strong Fit Clients

Clients who are not right for coaching at this time:

•     Clients in active crisis or requiring acute clinical stabilization

•     Clients who primarily need clinical or diagnostic support

•     Clients who are not yet emotionally ready for behavioral activation work

HOW THE REFERRAL WORKS

1.  You identify a client who could benefit from values-based behavior coaching support.

2.  With the client’s consent, you send a warm introduction email to Amanda. (Email templates are available on request.)

3.  Amanda reaches out to the client within 48 business hours to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.

4.  If the fit is mutual, the client enrolls in the 6-Week Activation Program.

5.  Ongoing communication between Amanda and your practice is governed by a shared Care Coordination Consent Form — you decide what is shared and when.

6.  You receive a brief check-in from Amanda at 30 days. That’s it. You stay in your lane; Amanda stays in hers.

About My Credential

I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) — a graduate-level certification in behavioral science awarded by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). My training focuses on behavioral assessment, evidence-based intervention design, habit systems, and the application of learning theory to human behavior.

In this coaching context, I apply ABA principles alongside Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and somatic practices to support behavior change in neurotypical and neurodivergent adults. My work is trauma-informed, values-aligned, and explicitly designed to complement — never replace — clinical therapy.

I do not diagnose, treat mental health conditions, or provide crisis intervention. I am not a therapist. I am a behavioral specialist who can extend the reach of your clinical work into the spaces between sessions.

About My Credentials

Fees & Structure

All coaching fees are paid directly by the client. There are no referral fees, no administrative burden on your practice, and no shared billing. You refer; I handle the rest.

•     6-Week Activation Program: $895 (sliding scale available for select clients)

•     Ongoing Individual Coaching: $300/month

•     Deep Support Tier (4 sessions/month + coordination): $500/month

•     Community Group Coaching: $120/month (available as add-on to any tier)

A Note on ABA & How I Practice

I hold the BCBA credential and use behavioral science in my coaching practice. I also want to be transparent with you about how I use it — because I know many clinicians, especially those working with autistic clients, are rightly cautious about ABA.

The criticisms of traditional ABA — its compliance-focused history, its use of aversive techniques, its tendency to prioritize neurotypical conformity over client autonomy — are valid and well-documented. I do not practice that model. My work is grounded in the science of behavior analysis — how behavior is learned, maintained, and changed — applied in a framework that is wholly client-directed, autonomy-preserving, and identity-affirming. Goals are always defined by the client. Nothing is targeted for elimination unless the client identifies it as a barrier to their own values and wellbeing.

If you or any of your clients have had negative experiences with ABA in the past, I encourage you to name that in the referral conversation or feel free to connect with me. I welcome it, and I will always adapt my approach to what feels safe and clinically appropriate for each individual.
